Sinopse: Na Tirana de hoje, Agim e Gëzim, dois irmãos gêmeos idênticos surdo-mudos na faixa dos quarenta anos, vivem sob o mesmo teto. Ana, namorada de Gëzim, uma jovem mulher animada e cheia de vida em seus trinta anos, os visita com frequência. Uma noite, Agim está dirigindo de volta para casa com Gëzim, quando sua visão fica embaçada e um acidente fatal quase ocorre. No oftalmologista, alguns dias depois, os dois irmãos descobrem que, devido a uma doença genética rara, eles irão ficar cegos de forma progressiva e irreversível.

Mergulhando lentamente em uma escuridão silenciosa e insuportável, sem poder ver o mundo e um ao outro, apenas Ana ao lado deles, os dois irmãos precisam tomar uma decisão importante. Com uma xícara de café e novos sapatos, eles se encontram diante de um momento crucial em suas vidas, tendo que enfrentar juntos os desafios que virão pela frente.


In today’s Tirana, Agim and Gëzim, two inseparable deaf-mute identical twin brothers in their forties, live under the same roof. Ana, Gëzim’s girlfriend, a young high-spirited woman in her thirties, visits them quite often. One evening, Agim is driving back home with Gëzim, when his sight gets blurred and a fatal accident nearly occurs. At the ophthalmologist, a few days later, the two brothers discover that due to a genetic and rare disease, they will separately, but progressively and irreversibly go blind. Slowly immersing into an unbearable silenced darkness, not being able to see the world and each other anymore, only Ana by their side, the two brothers have to make a strong decision around a cup of coffee with new shoes on.
