24 S04 – A nova temporada começa 18 meses depois. A CTU agora é chefiada por Erin Driscoll , uma rígida agente do governo cuja principal prioridade em seu primeiro dia de trabalho foi demitir Jack.
Após a explosão de um trem de passageiros, Jack, que agora está trabalhando para o Secretário da Defesa James Heller e também está romanticamente envolvido com a filha casada dele, Audrey, repentinamente se vê de volta à CTU para uma reunião com Driscoll, sob as ordens de Heller.
